My husband was in marching band when he was young. He actually misses it, though I do wonder if he misses the long hours. How did it go for you? I do hope well.

Really? Marching Band is really good for many reasons. (Which is something you probaly already knew.)
The hours are the best. 3-6 hours of doing nothing but something you enjoy soons great. Haha.
My mother is overly protective, so since there was a thunderstorm warning I wasn't aloud to go. Plus, my brother got sick.

Indeed. My husband did marching band, jazz band, and orchestra. He's quite the musician. He can do things very few people I've met have been able to. Like transposing music by ear and immediately playing it. Though, his instructors would get upset at him for doing that. It was something that came out of boredom. And he can hear problems in music that many people don't pick up on, like the most minor of a mistake. It's really impressive how sensitive his hearing is. Sorry, I brag on him a lot. It's a shame he didn't study music in college. He would have been amazing.

Sorry to hear that you were unable to attend, though. That's a shame. Of course, I would have probably done the same. Storms make me paranoid.

Brag all you want. My older cousin is the same. He taught himself how to play the flute, drums, clarinet, keyboard, the bass, and a few others. He'd listen to a song and play it right back. I was always so jealous. Your husband soons wonderful, ad he should have gone further with it.
I'm not in the band, I'm in the Colorgraud with my brother and cousin.
So I'm I. My friend harassed me. She payed money to attend the parade. (It was a fair.)

That's wonderful. Your cousin sounds a lot like my husband. He's pretty good at picking up instruments and just running with it. It's quite incredible. He's actually considered returning to college for it. I told him it's never too late. I remember when I was in college and one of my classmates was in her 50s. College is education for all ages.

As for the storms, rain doesn't bother me at all. I walk in rain and do a bunch of other things. I have a problem with high winds and lightning. We have a lot of severe thunderstorms in our area where people are heavily encouraged to stay in doors. Lightning is quite brutal and unbiased.

Haha. Sounds like a funderkindt? (Something my music teacher says.) It is amazing. The first time I watched him do it it blew my mind. My mother just went back to school. The lowest age is 19 and the highest is 68. It's also her fourth Medical school. Truly it is. School is for the young and old.

The only storm that got me scared was a a snow storm. They scare me. A lot. Thunder storms can be scary.

Oh, I love snow storms. They don't scare me at all. They make me want to snuggle up somewhere with my hubby and grab a nice hot cup of coffee. Kind of silly considering I don't like high wind, eh? Blizzards are the only ones that don't faze me.
